Street Magician

Pete is London’s premier street magician, performing his signature brand of exciting, visual street magic at all kinds of corporate and private events. Whether it’s a product launch for Microsoft, an experiential event for Heineken or even Wayne Rooney’s 28th birthday party, Pete has done it all:

Street magic is the modern, informal style of magic made popular by magicians like Dynamo and David Blaine. Despite the name, it’s rarely actually performed on the street (except on television) – instead, it’s suitable for any event where the audience is slightly younger and edgier than at your average black tie event…

This style of performance can involve casual clothing – often just jeans and a T-Shirt – or more formal wear. The important difference is the direct and highly visual tricks using everyday objects, including borrowed banknotes, rings, mobile phones etc as well as the more traditional cards and coins. There are no long sleeves necessary to hide anything, and no long-winded patter or canned jokes to get in the way of the magic…

Pete is one of the few magicians in England to offer this kind of street magic, and as a result has been hired by many young and fashionable companies, from EMI Records to Adidas, who are looking for magic with a younger and more contemporary twist…
